We have some clarification for you,
We wanted to respond to some confusion we are having regarding our new means of communication.
Last month we introduced a new method of communicating via texting with our patients using the phone number 256-292-8770. This method of communicating with our office is so that your needs are met right away during regular business hours.
This brought up a misunderstanding that patients may not text Dr. Ligon’s personal cell phone number.
TO CLARIFY:
Patients MAY STILL CHOOSE to text Dr. Ligon with any needs that they may have -during AND after- office hours but need to understand that Dr. Ligon sees patients throughout the day, therefore patients will not receive a quick response if they choose to text her cell phone number during office hours.
We provided the office texting number 256-292-8770 for any needs you have, including an immediate need for Dr. Ligon because the front office and/or our nurses will be able to communicate that to Dr. Ligon quicker than she will be able to check her phone and respond.
We hope that this clarifies any misunderstandings and please remember that you can also call our front office at 256-325-3354 or communicate through our MDVIP portal.
